TRAINING MANUAL The Training Manual has been produced by: Simo Isoaho and Mikko Koskensyrjä Mr Isoaho, MSc (Chemical and Environmental Engineering) has the position of Senior Lecturer since 1987 in the institute. His teaching duties cover widely sustainability and environmental engineering topics. His present research activities are focusing on materials flow management and system analysis. Mr Koskensyrjä, MSc (Environmental Engineering) has been working as a researcher at TUT and still is frequently lecturing there. His doctoral studies are in progress. Presently he is working at Tapiola mutual insurance company as a specialist in environmental risk management. Valeras Kildisas Mr Kildisas; (Eng) has the position of Senior Expert since 1991 in the institute and Lecturer at the Process Control Department. His teaching duties and research activities cover environmental management, auditing, process control, cleaner production, application of methods of artificial intelligence. John McGregor Mr McGregor, I.Eng., A.M:I:MarEST, is an Incorporated Engineer with a background in ship and oil-rig construction, sea-transport and oil and gas exploration drilling. Planning for environmental protection and health & safety management has been an integral part of his work since 1975. He is an IEMA registered Environmental Auditor, and since 1989 has been an international consultant specialising in providing Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management assistance to all kinds of industrial and service enterprises as well as training organisations such as Universities and Polytechnics.
